What weekly tech coaching looks like for kids in St. Pete

Parents ask me this all the time. What does weekly tech coaching actually look like for a kid? Not the brochure version. The real week to week version.

Here is the honest answer. It is not dumping a child in front of another app and hoping something sticks. It is a consistent mentor, a clear plan, and progress you can see without guessing.

I work with kids ages eight and up. Most of them already live on a computer, phone, or tablet. Some are beginners who feel curious but unsure. Some already build in Roblox or edit videos and want a sharper path. Both are welcome.

We start where they already care. YouTube. Roblox. Minecraft. Games. Apps. Then we grow into coding, web skills, and practical AI when they are ready. The point is not to force a dry syllabus. The point is to use the worlds they love as the doorway into real skill.

When I say coding, I mean the bigger skill, not one language as the whole story. Kids learn how to break a problem down, try an idea, fail cleanly, fix it, and ship something that works. Python can show up. So can web projects, game logic, and simple apps. The language is a tool. The thinking is the win.

A typical week has rhythm. We set one clear goal. We build. We hit friction. We problem solve together. Then we leave with a next step they can feel proud of. Parents do not need to hover through every click. They do need to see that something is moving.

Safety and security sit inside the coaching, not off to the side as a lecture. Kids are online anyway. I would rather they learn good habits with someone who takes that seriously. Accounts. Privacy. What to share. What not to share. How to stay sharp without becoming scared of every tool.

Sessions can be online or here in St. Pete. Some families like the flexibility of a screen. Some want face to face energy. Hybrid works because the relationship is the product, not the room we sit in.

I coach the way I was coached in sports. High standards. Real care. Room to grow. I do not do soft fluff that wastes a kid's time, and I do not do harsh nonsense that kills confidence. There is a middle path that builds both skill and grit.

If your child is a young entrepreneur who wants to get online fast, we can start with Quick Start and then move into weekly coaching. Get a clean presence up. Learn the basics the right way. Then keep growing with consistency.

The families who get the most from this are the ones who want a mentor, not a magic button. Weekly shows up. Weekly builds trust. Weekly turns random curiosity into real capability.

One more thing parents ask. Will my child fall behind if they are not already coding? No. Curiosity beats prior experience every time. What matters is that they want to build and are willing to stick with the work when it gets hard for a minute.

If that sounds like what you have been looking for, book a free intro. Tell me about your kid, their age, their devices, and what they light up about. We will talk fit, goals, and whether weekly coaching is the right move. No pressure. Just a clear conversation about how to help them build.
